ACCOMMODATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking

Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking

All accommodation bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation by provision of Valid Credit Card details.

By providing valid credit card details, you warrant that you have the authority to use the credit card and you authorise Chez Jean Perisher to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card in the case of cancellation or no shows, charges still persist. Payment in full at time of booking.
Refunds and Cancellations

For bookings made and cancelled 60 days or more prior to the arrival date, the deposit is 50% refundable

For bookings made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date and cancelled within 30 days of arrival the full tariff is not refundable.

For bookings made within 30 days of arrival and cancelled and for no shows – the full tariff is not refundable.

Upon request, we will re-advertise a property to re-book it. An administration fee of $500 is payable prior to the property being re-advertised.

Cancellation due to government restrictions on travel In the event of a forced cancellation due to government restrictions on travel, guests will be offered a postponement of their booking. A credit voucher to the value of the original booking will be issued. This will be valid for 24 months from the issue date.

The original deposit will be held in trust and credited to the new booking.

There are no refunds in these circumstances unless genuine hardship can be proven.

Cancellation due to non-payment by the due date Cancellation of the arrangement due to non-payment of the balance by the due date will result in the loss of all monies paid.

Check in, check out, and opening and closing dates
Our operational guidelines are structured as follows: a minimum stay of 7 nights, encompassing Saturday to Friday evenings. Check-in time is scheduled for 1 pm on Saturdays, with check-out at 10 am on subsequent Saturdays. Our establishment operates within the timeframe of June 1st to October 21st. Early arrivals are not accommodated within our current operational framework.
General terms and conditions

Damage, breakages, theft, and losses are the tenants’ responsibility during their stay

Additional cleaning fees may apply as required

The consumption of drugs or alcohol in rooms is strictly prohibited and may result in termination of booking, dismissal of guest without a refund and legal prosecution

Smoking is not permitted at any time. An additional cleaning fee will be charged.

Pets are not allowed

For the enjoyment of all guests, noise restrictions apply after 9pm. Excessive noise is not tolerated

The number of guests must not exceed the number stated on the booking confirmation notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email

Lost or stolen keys will incur a $200 fee. Attempts will be made to contact the guest who will be given the opportunity to return keys taken. Failure to do so will result in the fee being charged to their credit card.

Room degradation (such as vomit, bodily wastes) a $500 cleaning fee will be charged, plus any professional floor cleaning charges at cost, plus a daily room tariff equal to the daily tariff that we would charge if the room was available to be let or any other rate that may be agreed to by the management, in accordance with business demand on the day, until the said room has been returned to its saleable condition
The breach of any of the above conditions may result in immediate termination of accommodation
Smoking:

All rooms are non-smoking.

For safety and to assure that our facility is not exposed to items or actions that create an odour which is unhealthy and objectionable to our guests and staff, and that is difficult to remove from the air, carpet, walls, curtains and furniture.

We do not permit smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, cartridges containing the liquid of nicotine, incense, cooking, cigars, candle burning, the use or diffusing of essential oils or synthetic products in our facility.

Damage to Mattress and Bedding:

Damage to mattress and linen, including towels, mattress protectors, sheets, bedspreads, blankets, coverlets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc, will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.

Infestation:

The cleanliness of our rooms is extremely important to our guests.

If you bring any infestation into your room or onto our premises, we may charge you for any or all costs and expenses, including immediate or urgent response requirements and loss of room revenue, that we deem necessary to address the infestation.
Cooking & Fire

Due to Fire regulations, Management must be aware of number of guests in rooms

NO CANDLES OR OPEN FLAMES PERMITTED.

Should the Fire Alarm be activated, the cost of Emergency Services attending, will be charged to the guest
Party Policy
-
Zero tolerance party policy.
-
In the interest of quiet enjoyment and respect for all guests, a no party policy applies to all guests staying at the property.
-
Guests are expected to be respectful of other guests at all times, and to be quiet between 9pm-7am.

No group congregations in individual guest rooms are permitted or tolerated. Immediate eviction with no refund applies to any breaches of this policy.
Unaccompanied Minors:

All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent /guardian.

The property has the right to refuse any booking, when the legal guardian over 18 cannot provide a current photo ID, when requested.

No cots or extra beds available. BYO port -a-cot if required
